What is the Borrowing/Issuance Fee?

The Borrowing/Issuance Fee is the amount of USDL a borrower pays to the LOAN Staking Pool.
The fee is 0.5%-5% of the USDL which is borrowed. The borrowing fee rises as redemption volume rises and falls as redemption value falls.
As you can see in the image, the borrowing fee is 0.624%. This equals 6.24 USDL for every 1000 USDL borrowed.
The function of the borrowing fee is to discourage spam transactions and to reward LOAN Stakers with yield.
